Week 1: Collage: Tower of Babel

I created this collage out of little swatches of watercolor experiments that I had done in the past. I love the subtle changes in color in the repetitious dabs of color.

I love realizing different contributing factors that have influenced me. Sometimes its subconsciously.

Leo Lionni has the most beautiful end sheets in his books. Beautiful repetition, I can't get enough of those dots! And seeing the two groupings of different colors of dots just makes me feel rich!
Group group group- if you like 1 of something, then 3 is a ball, and 20 will be a real kick in the pants!

Hi Jeni! I didn't know you had a blog. Fun to see you in blog land. I love this tower. Very creative. I bought your book the other day at Deseret Book. I'll have to have you sign it!

I really like how you showed the close up you can really see how the color changes. I love how watercolor does that. Nice job.
